Who is Care Net Pregnancy Center ?
Care Net Pregnancy Center is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His church and is committed to presenting the gospel of our Lord to women with crisis pregnancies - both in word and in deed.

Care Net is committed to providing its clients with accurate information about prenatal development and abortion. We offer information, practical help and referral services.

The center does not refer for abortions. The center does not discriminate in providing services because of race, creed, color, national origin, age or marital status. All of our assistance is free of charge and confidential.

What about The Gospel?
Every woman with an unplanned pregnancy has spiritual needs as well as physical ones, Jesus Christ desires to meet them all.

Therefore, the Care Net ministry is comprehensive in presenting the Gospel to women seeking assistance. Volunteers are trained to express Christ's love and offer His forgiveness to their clients. Care Net will not refuse a client if she is not interested in addressing her spiritual needs.

Our Background

Care Net Pregnancy Center of Wayne County, opened its doors to the public in May 1988 in downtown Palmyra. It is governed by a local board of directors and is funded purely by donations. The Center Director manages a staff of well-trained volunteers who peer-counsel women in one on one personal meetings or over the phone.

Care Net Pregnancy Center is affiliated with Care Net which grew out of the Christian Action Council which was founded in 1975 by a member of concerned Christians, including Dr. & Mrs. Harold O. J. Brown, Dr. C. Everitt Koop, Rev. Billy Graham and the late Dr. Francis A. Schaffer. Since its establishment it has challenged threats to human life, such as abortion, fetal research, genetic engineering, assisted suicide, infanticide and euthanasia.

Care Net researched and developed a model for pregnancy centers in 1978 and actually opened its first center in Baltimore, Maryland in l980. Today there are over 750 affiliated Care Net Centers who are known for their biblically based care and high-quality standards.
